XML-RPC Sucks!

XML-RPC doesn't define a standard for automatically discovering and/or generating a client class. XML-RPC messages look like spaghetti. Didn't its creators understood why all the other XML message exchanging protocols keep XML structured in order that it can be human readable? I wonder what's its purpose, besides turning XML messages into a stupid sequence of name-value pairs.
